Casey Young
Casey, the creator of Sunshine Daydream, comes from a heritage of gardeners and farmers. The cherished. memories of his grandparents' and parents' farms and gardens inspired him to embrace gardening and sustainability from an early age. In a world often lost in many ways, Casey has always found grounding in the old ways of working with the land.
With 30 years of permaculture experience, Casey has learned to collaborate with nature rather than impose his will upon it. He is dedicated to creating spaces that align with both his integrity and the earths well-being. His outdoor spaces are not only beautiful but also provide fresh produce, herbs, apothecary, and lush landscapes.
Previously, Casey owned "Humbleroot Farm" a market garden and nursery that supplied fresh organic produce to local communities and restaurants. His commitment to organic farming for his community was unwavering.
Fueled by years of passion and experience, Casey decided to formalize his expertise with a Permaculture Design Certification from the Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute. He has worked across the Western United States and Hawaiian Islands, crafting permaculture masterpieces.
Sunshine Daydream was born from Casey's recognition of the need for change and hope for a better future within his local community and beyond. He dreams of a world where we all rethink and create sustainable spaces that are both beautiful and enduring for generations to come.
Dylan Davis
Dylan, the Project Manager and Landscape Designer at Sunshine Daydream, grew up with a deep respect for nature and the beauty of the natural world, thanks to his experiences at his grandfather's farm. This upbringing instilled in him a lifelong passion for the environment and sustainable practices.
With s solid background in project management and landscape planning, Dylan has successfully led numerous projects from conception to completion. His expertise in coordinating teams, managing timelines, and enduring high-quality outcomes has been instrumental in transforming outdoor spaces into sustainable havens.
